Coronavirus Text Plea To My Family

Hi Fam💜

I’m sending out a plea to all of you. This text may be long but it will be well worth reading. So here it is…

Stuff is opening up (for economic reasons ONLY) and we can lose focus that we’re still in a COVID-19 pandemic and the virus is still lurking around creeping up on its next victim!

So let’s keep our razors sharp and keep practicing social distancing regardless if face coverings are on and especially when masks are off. As an effort to possibly stop drops from entering our body, remember face coverings should be fabric when held up to light you can’t see through and fit snugged from top of nose bridge, around jaw to bottom chin. And let’s not forget our ears and 👀 s which are also openings into our bodies, so it wouldn’t hurt to keep on glasses or shades when in public – (just a thought).

Prayer is ultimate.

Operating with safe practices is next.

Let’s all stay vigilant & follow the safety precautions. Please don’t get caught up in rhetoric talk about if the media is blowing the numbers out of proportion or if they are reporting too much for a story. It really shouldn’t matter one way or the other…coronavirus is killing folks and I care about us all and want us to be safe as much as we can humanly manage.

Let’s continue to thoroughly wash our hands for 20 seconds as often as possible; stay out of groups, especially when indoors; disinfect commonly used areas often; stay at least 6 feet away from non-household members.

Take your daily vitamin.

My Speech to My Mother

IMG_6936We are here to celebrate my mother, “An Amazing Lady is Turning Eighty.”

I say celebrate because to CELEBRATE means to rejoice in or have special festivities to mark a happy day or event.

Well, July 1, 2014 marks the HAPPY event of my mother’s birth. So today we celebrate that event with special LOVE.

Mother, through your almost 80 years you have brought to many – uplifting words, undying devotion, unconditional love, remarkable strength, great friendships, happy memories, moral support, memorable thoughts, fun times, shelter, everlasting patience, a kind calm heart, a beautiful smile, an oh not to mention good food,..I can go on and on and on.

Maya Angelou once said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said,

people will forget what you did,

but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

Mother you always make me feel TRULY loved. You make me feel as if I can do absolutely anything as long as I believe in Jehovah God and have faith that he will always take care of me. You taught me not just to work, but more importantly HOW to work.

I thank Jehovah for blessing me with 49 years with an AMAZING mother, who makes me FEEL UNCONDITIONALLY LOVED.

I appreciate that you always provided me with the best you had.

I respect you for introducing me to spiritual guidance.

I am grateful for your encouraging me to always do my best.

I admire you for teaching me to mind my own business.

I am glad you introduced me to the basic steps toward a healthier lifestyle.

I am in awe of your strength. How you allow absolutely nothing to rock you from your base…not even an earthquake.

I am thankful to you for instilling morals and values into my heart at a young age.

I marvel at your undercover confidence.

I like how you surrounded my child life with family love.

And I really lovvvve how you stopped having babies after me which made me the BABY!

Because anyone that knows me, knows that I love being the BABY.

I do not think of today as just a birthday party. Today is a celebration for an apparently shy, yet AMAZING LADY.

Happy 80th CELEBRATION to you Mommy
